Recognise this man? Tahmoor home invasion person of interest

Police investigating a home invasion at Tahmoor from earlier this year have released a computerised image of a man who may be able to assist with inquiries.

About 9pm on Thursday, January 4, a man and woman, both aged 22, were at their home on Hunter Street, when two unknown men forced their way into the property.

The man was assaulted and the two male intruders demanded cash then damaged property, before fleeing with some jewellery.

Police were called to the location and a conducted a patrol of the area, but the perpetrators could not be located.

A crime scene was established and investigations into the incident commenced by officers attached to Camden Local Area Command.

The occupants of the home were treated at the scene for minor injuries.

Investigators would like to speak to two men who they believe may be able to assist with their inquiries.

Both were wearing dark clothing at the time.

The first is described as being Caucasian appearance, aged in his early 20s, about 180cm tall, with a solid build and shaved head.

The man had his face covered but was seen to have an eyebrow piercing and was carrying a baseball bat.

The second is described as being of Caucasian appearance, aged in his mid to late 20s, about 180cm tall and a thin build.

He was carrying a machete.

Police have released a computerised image of that man, which is attached to this article (above).
