Police looking for man who approached 14 year old girl

A 14 year old girl ran off to her home when she was approached by a man in tracksuit pants earlier this week.

She told her parents who contacted police the following day.

Police are now investigating the incident and would like to speak to a man described as being of Indian Sub-Continental appearance with a medium build, large eyes and balding with a small amount of dark hair.

The man was last seen wearing a brown and olive sweater with a red and while line across the chest along with grey and beige coloured tracksuit pants.

Police say that around 4pm on Tuesday a 14-year-old girl was walking along Leacocks Lane at Casula when a man walking behind called out to her.

Police have been told the man held out his hands and gestured for her to come to him before she took off.

♦ Police are also investigating a home invasion by as many as 10 men in south west Sydney yesterday.

They say it was quite possibly a targeted act.

About 2.50pm emergency services were called to a home on Helena Circuit, Cecil Hills following reports several men had entered the home and assaulted two residents.

Police were told up to 10 men entered the home via a garage door and assaulted two men aged 25 and 56, who were in the rear of the home.

The 25-year-old man suffered head and facial injuries and was taken to hospital. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

The older man suffered facial injuries, bruising and swelling and was taken to hospital in a stable condition.

The men who entered the home were seen to leave the premises in two black cars.

Forensic specialists as well as local police officers established a crime scene around the home.

Several items were seized at the location and will be forensically examined.
