Skipper’s back: Aaron Woods will bolster the forwards when he returns from injury this Friday night at Suncorp Stadium against the Brisbane Broncos.

Wests Tigers Coach Ivan Cleary has named Jack Littlejohn as the replacement for Mitchell Moses in Friday night’s round 11 clash with the Brisbane Broncos at Suncorp Stadium.

Moses was today released to play for the Eels from this weekend.

There is some good news in the team Cleary named this afternoon for the trip north.

Captain Aaron Woods returns at prop for Ava Seumanufagai, while Kyle Lovett replaces Michael Chee Kam on the bench.

The Tigers missed the go forward Woods provides in their loss to Souths last Friday night at ANZ Stadium.

Woods of course is another star who will be moving on in 2018, in his case to Belmore and the Bulldogs.

Russell Packer looks like being his replacement with the St George prop agreeing to terms earlier this week.

Friday night’s match looms as another massive mountain to climb for the embattled Tigers, whose season has been messy to say the least.

But at least Ivan Cleary has provided some strong leadership and looks to be constructing a plan for the future.

Still, he wouldn’t mind pinching the two premiership points with an upset win this Friday night.

But the Broncos will be on their guard for an ambush from a team desperate to get something out of a season that’s gone off the rails.

The Wests Tigers team named by Cleary is:

1  James Tedesco

2  David Nofoaluma

3 Malakai Watene Zelezniak

4 Moses Suli

5 Kevin Naiqama

6 Jack Littlejohn

7 Luke Brooks
