Programs and services of local charity Youth Solutions will get a $28,000 boost thanks to this year’s McHappy Time.

Starting on Saturday, June 23 and until Friday, July 6, McDonald’s in Macarthur stores sold thousands of pens and stickers to the community to raise money and awareness for Youth Solutions.

Youth Solutions CEO Geraldine Dean said she was humbled by McDonald’s in Macarthur’s generous partnership through McHappy Time and the support of the wider community.

“Thank you to McDonald’s Macarthur owner Peter Meadows and his team for partnering with us for McHappy Time,’’ Mrs Dean said.

“We are incredibly excited by this result.

“Also a big thank you to the Macarthur community who bought a pen or sticker during the campaign.

“We thoroughly enjoyed chatting to the community through the campaign about what we do at Youth Solutions and grateful for the robust support of our service,’’ she said.

“McDonald’s in Macarthur has been supporting Youth Solutions for more than a decade.

“We know that without the support of McDonald’s in Macarthur and our generous community, we wouldn’t be able to do what we do, so thank you,” Mrs Dean said.
