Campbelltown runner Izmira Mohd took part in the first  RunWest and she’s set to do it all again in 2020.

And no wonder – Izmira was one of more than 7,500 registrations for this giant community event.

Izmira did the 4km family fun run with her husband and son earlier this year and will be doing it all again when the second RunWest is held on March 29, 2020.

Registrations are now open for RunWest mark II, which will again give locals of all ages, abilities and fitness levels come together to run, jog or walk through the iconic Western Sydney course in support of some incredible charities.

The 12km Fun Run will start at Sydney Motorsport Park, before participants enjoy one of the most unique fun run experiences ever – running through the new Sydney Zoo – with lions, tigers and plenty of cute and cuddly animals cheering them on.

The course flows through Sydney’s biggest backyard, the Western Sydney Parklands.

Both the 12km and 4km events will finish at the same place, right outside West HQ, where participants will receive their finisher’s medal before making their way into the festival that will wrap up the fun run.

There they will enjoy great food, live entertainment on the main stage, appearances from celebrities and sports stars, cultural performances, competitions, giveaways and more.

Also part of RunWest, the 2020 Community Challenge will also see eligible community groups register a team for a chance to win a share of $6,000 in prizemoney. Any team of five participants or more will also see each participant receive a $5 discount on their registration fee.
