Over the past 14 months 500 sites have been sold at the New Breeze masterplanned community in Bardia valued at $227.6 million.

This exceptional sales result makes the Dahua Group Australia development the fastest selling project in the South West growth corridor during that period.

“Location, infrastructure and price have driven this phenomenal land sales result,’’ says Jesse Johnson, sales manager for New Breeze.

“Dahua deliberately purchased this land parcel in 2015 as a direct result of its position directly across the road from Edmondson Park train station and the future Edmondson Park Town Centre.

“New Breeze is located in the epicentre of the thriving South West growth corridor with significant activity currently taking place,’’ he said.

“Hundreds of homes are under construction, businesses are expanding in the region, major infrastructure is under way including roads, schools and shopping centres and hundreds of new jobs are being created.

“The area is very busy and it is no surprise that purchasers have recognised this,’’ Jesse Johnson said.

“The land has also been priced to meet market demand with the average land lot between 240 and 375 square metres.

“If you release the right product in the right location at the right time, purchasers will come and this is exactly what has happened at New Breeze.

“We are also witnessing North West purchasers shifting to the South West with price as a major driver.

“A 600 square metre land lot in Bella Vista is selling for over $950,000, while at New Breeze a 600 square metre lot is around $599,000.’’

However, more than 90 per cent of New Breeze buyers are from Liverpool, Casula, Ingleburn and Glenfield.

Thirty per cent of purchasers are first home buyers, 30 per cent families, 20 per cent are downsizers and the remainder investors.

Several groups of family and friends are also purchasing together in the development.

The NSW government’s recent first home buyer incentives announcement to omit stamp duty for existing dwellings under $650,000 and concessions for new homes up to $750,000 has also helped sales.

New Breeze will comprise 1280 new homes with a range of housing types.
