This year’s Youth Solutions annual charity fundraiser was an entertaining evening of mystery and marvel.

It also raised $26,000, which was hailed as a “fantastic result’’ by Youth Solutions chief executive officer Geraldine Dean.

“On behalf of the Youth Solutions Board, Fundraising Committee and team, I would like to thank all of the wonderful businesses and individuals who supported this year’s charity event and helped us to raise $26,000,” Ms Dean said.

More than 360 people attended the function on Saturday at The Cube, Campbelltown Catholic Club.

“We are very grateful to have such a fantastic outcome from this year’s event,’’ Ms Dean said.

“The funds will go a long way in helping Youth Solutions to reach additional young people with our programs and to utilise additional resources to ensure our programs can achieve the best possible outcomes.”

The 2017 Youth Solutions Charity Event date has been set for Saturday, July 22.

“The support and generosity of the community really does have a huge impact on Youth Solutions and is paramount for helping us to fulfil our vision of improving the health, wellbeing and resilience of our young people and community,” Ms Dean said.

“We would particularly like to thank our event sponsors for their generosity, including our major sponsor, the Rotary Club of Narellan.

“We would also like to thank all of the businesses and individuals who donated prizes or funds in support of the event.

“Thanks also to the hardworking Fundraising Committee for helping us to put this event together.

“It really takes the support of a whole community to prevent drug and alcohol related harm and we are very grateful to have that support from the Macarthur and Wingecarribee community.”

Mrs Dean encouraged the community to keep up to date with Youth Solutions programs and fundraising activities by visiting the Youth Solutions website here.
