Oran Park Town and Great Beginnings Oran Park recently joined forces to provide a unique opportunity for parents looking to build their own home – and to raise Christmas funds for a local charity.

Parents were able to leave their children with the qualified Great Beginnings staff while they browsed the new homes on offer at Oran Park.

This campaign ran for two full weekends in September, and parents were grateful for the child minding opportunity, while they made their biggest investment decision in life.

This service offered not only relief for parents, but an environment for children to explore, learn, grow and extend upon their own interests while their parents were close by.

But another big winner of this campaign was one of our great local charities, Kids of Macarthur Health Foundation.

That’s because Great Beginnings donated their full pay from the four day event directly to Kids of Macarthur.

“We are extremely grateful for their generous donation this close to Christmas,’’ says Denise McGrath, chief executive officer of Kids of Macarthur.

“The funds will assist us in getting much needed paediatric medical equipment for Campbelltown and Camden hospitals just in time for Christmas.

“We would like to thank the teams at Great Beginning Oran Park and Oran Park Town for their support and donation, volunteering your time for our charity, we are truly grateful,’’ Denise McGrath said.

Kids of Macarthur Health Foundation have several events running from now until Christmas – the corporate wishing tree program, a gift wrapping services at Macarthur Square and Santa’s gift delivery service to sick kids across Macarthur.
