The festive season officially ended yesterday on the 12th day of Christmas, but there’s still month a month left of summer fun.

And there’s plenty to do in that time, both here in the Macarthur region and across the metropolitan area.

One of the events coming up locally is at the historic Gledswood Homestead, Catherine Field.

Celebrate summer at the colonial Gledswood Homestead and winery with three days of wine tasting, food and entertainment from Friday, January 19, to Sunday, January 21.

The three-day “Wine all you Want’’ event will have it all, from boutique wines to craft beer.

There will also be a wine tasting masterclass, gin garden bar, prosecco cart, food carts, mini-golf and entertainment throughout the afternoon.

Guests are welcome to bring a picnic blanket and enjoy the festivities of the afternoon and evening.

You will also be able to dance the night away when the Gledswood lawn is transformed into a dancefloor.

A special 80s-90s disco theme is scheduled on Friday from 8.30pm and a funky dance party on Saturday night at the same time.

Gledswood Homestead was built in the 1830s by James Chisholm, one of the founders of the bank of NSW.

The 184-year-old homestead boasts heritage gardens and farm buildings and hosts many events, including weddings, functions and conferences.

Wine all you Want begins on Friday January 19, 2018, and runs through to Sunday, January 21.

Tickets are $10 for adults – includes your entry fee, a signature wine glass and a splash of your preferred wine on arrival – with kids getting in free.

If you decide to go an additional second or third day, tickets are $6. Each day starts from 3pm onwards.
