It’s a girl: local MP becomes a father for the first time

Hello world: Anna Kovalsky, the wife of Macquarie Fields MP Anoulack Chanthivong, gave birth to a baby girl just after midnight and who was named Audrey Evelyn Latsamy Chanthivong.

It’s a girl.

The State Member for Macquarie Fields, Anoulack Chanthivong, is celebrating the birth of his first child.

His wife, Anna Kovalsky, gave birth to a baby girl in the early hours of this morning.

Their happy and proud parents have named their first child Audrey Evelyn Latsamy Chanthivong.

Little Audrey was born at 1.26am on Friday, April 13, weighing in at a healthy 2.96kg.

Anoulack and Anna thanked the doctors and nursing staff, and said they were very grateful for all of the well-wishes and messages of congratulations from the community.

“Anna and I are thrilled to welcome our beautiful baby daughter, Audrey, into the world,’’ said the local MP said this morning.

“We are very appreciative of all of the kind messages of love and support we have received.

“Anna and I are excited to embrace this new chapter in our lives,’’ he said.

“And, like all new parents, we look forward to enjoying precious moments together as a young family as we watch Audrey grow.”
