Rawson Communities says it’s keeping home ownership dreams alive in the Sydney property market with its latest release of house and land packages.

With prices starting at $602,700 for a three bedroom Thrive Homes house and land package, the first Aspect at Austral sales release last month was a sell out.

A second sales release (August 12) is set to deliver more than 160 homes.

With Sydney’s property values growing 18.7 per cent in the last 12 months and the median house price now well over $1 million, Aspect at Austral offers affordable housing options right in the middle of the south west corridor.

“Housing affordability is a growing problem in NSW as land becomes more scarce,’’ says CEO of Rawson Group Matthew Ramaley.

“At Rawson we take this very seriously and have been working hard with our suppliers to keep house prices in check.

“As such, we are developing more opportunities to help Australians achieve their goal of home ownership.

“Our Aspect at Austral development provides opportunities for consumers to purchase a home in Sydney from just $602,700, a proposition that is rarely seen in the current market conditions.

“Furthermore, first home buyers will be able to take advantage of the NSW Government’s initiatives and either not pay stamp duty (on purchases up to $650,000) or be given significant relief on the amount of stamp duty paid (on purchases up to $800,000).”

Austral is close to the new Western Sydney airport, which is expected to begin operations in 2026 and generate around 20,000 direct and indirect jobs by the early 2030s.

Four primary schools, a high school, a TAFE college, a regional integrated primary health care centre, a major town centre, three neighbourhood hubs and upgrades to major roads, cycling paths and walkways will also be completed in the near future.
