Family concerns for wellbeing of man missing since August 1

Have you seen this man? He’s been missing since August 1 and his family are worried about the wellbeing of Turia Travelon Vaine Keu.

Police have re-appealed for information from the public to locate a 30-year-old man who is missing from Ingleburn.

Turia Travelon Vaine Keu was last seen at his home on Sackville Street at 6.30am on Tuesday, August 1 this year.

He has not been seen or heard from since and police and family hold serious concerns for his welfare due to developmental disabilities and his inability to communicate clearly.

Turia Travelon is described as Pacific Islander in appearance with a large build.

He may be wearing a black cap.

He also has a distinct limp on his left leg due to a physical disability.

Anyone who knows anything should call Crimestoppers or their local police.

♦ A youth will have to face the owner of a pet cat found dead last week.

A man called police after he found the body of the cat in his backyard in Market Street at Tahmoor, about 10.30pm on Thursday, August 10.

Officers from Camden Local Area Command attended and launched an investigation.

Following an appeal by police, a 16-year-old boy attended Narellan Police Station yesterday (Thursday).

The teenager was accompanied by a family member.

He was arrested and afterwards questioned by police.

The youth will be subject to a Youth Justice Conference under the Young Offenders Act, where he will meet face-to-face with the cat’s owners

Police say they would like to thank the public and the media for their assistance on this matter.
