Community facilities work lands $400,000 grant

Eight projects to improve community infrastructure in Campbelltown have received $400,000 as part of the NSW Government’s Community Building Partnerships.

Some of the local projects to receive funding include:

St John the Evangelist Community Hall & Church: Accessibility improvements $117,139;

Campbelltown Harlequin Rugby Club Inc: Canteen Fitout and Security Upgrade $36,552;

Schizophrenia Fellowship of NSW Inc: Stage 2 Harmony House Renovation $56,280;

Macarthur Diversity Services Initiative Ltd: Community hub kitchen project $68,150;

Ruse Football Club Incorporated: Amenities block awning extension $23,430;

Australian Foundation for Disability: Equipment – Disability Enterprise supporting people with disabilities in the workforce $31,660;

Campbelltown City Kangaroos Junior Rugby League Club: Stromferry Oval $48,639;

Campbelltown District Netball Association Incorporated: Landscape enhancement $18,150.

State member for Campbelltown, Bryan Doyle announced the grants.

“I look forward to seeing the benefits these local projects will provide to the people of Campbelltown, through local construction jobs and of course the facilities and services open to members of the Campbelltown community,” Mr Doyle said.
