Ed.Square’s Daily Bean café has launched an “After Dark” menu, featuring tapas inspired meals, cocktails, beers and dessert.

Just six months after opening their doors at Frasers Property Australia’s Ed.Square sales and display centre at Edmondson Park, proprietor Denis Simione can safely say his dream of bringing the best coffee to South West Sydney has been a success and now he’s expanding to take on the nightlife too.

The After Dark menu, which is available every Friday and Saturday evening from 5pm, has been in demand since launching the evening trade in mid-February this year.

“The launch has been a success,” he said.

Since opening Daily Bean last year, Mr Simione has had the pleasure of getting to know the locals around the area and is pleased to be welcoming new customers in every day.

Patrons can choose from a selection of tapas inspired items while sipping on popular signature cocktails such as the Limoncello Fizz and Mango Daiquiri.

“I really love the social and creative aspect of hospitality,’’ says Mr Simione.

“Our new café is a great opportunity to meet the locals and refine our ideas for the restaurant we plan to open in the new Ed.Square Town Centre.

“Our vision is to create a distinctive social gathering point,” he says.

Denis is a seasoned business owner. The Ed.Square café is his second establishment having opened a café under the same name four years ago in Oran Park.

Along with the After Dark menu, residents and locals have been drawn to the Daily Bean’s delicious coffee and selection of made to order fresh food.

“Good coffee should be complemented by a fresh, made to order menu,’’ Mr Simione said.

“Our first cafe is a kiosk format so our new café here at Ed. is an opportunity for us to expand our menu and share our special coffee, food and hospitality further afield.”

The Daily Bean at Ed.Square is open seven days.

Locals can grab a coffee and a meal on Monday to Thursday from 6am to 4pm, on Friday and Saturday from 6am till late and on Sunday from 8am to 4pm.

Adjacent to the Edmondson Park train station, Ed.Square will comprise over six hectares of open space and a variety of home styles and floorplans across 992 apartments and 892 terraces and townhouses.

The first Ed.Square residents are expected to move into their new homes in the second half 2020, which will coincide with the completion of the first stage of the town centre.
