Creative Careers Seminar – Curatorial Dreams: Saturday, June 27, 2pm – 4pm, Casula Powerhouse Arts Centre.

Do you have creative dreams?

Want to know more about how to make them a reality?

Then Creative Careers are a series of seminars especially for you.

They will be at Casula Powerhouse Arts Centre  on Saturday, June 27, between 2pm and 4pm.

Creative Careers is a free seminar series for young adults to discover how creative industry leaders were able to achieve their career goals and ambitions.

Today, many young people find it difficult to comprehend the multitude of avenues that a creative degree or qualification can take you on.

What can you do with a Fine Arts Diploma or a Bachelor of Arts? Is postgraduate study necessary?

The dream for many is to find permanent work doing what they love, especially within the creative industries.

[social_quote duplicate=”no” align=”default”]Creative Careers offers an inclusive opportunity to interact with like-minded creative professionals, ask questions and learn about the careers of creatives.[/social_quote]

Each Creative Careers Seminar will be a themed panel discussion showcasing the knowledge and opinions of selected leaders in the field.

Panel speakers include Emily McDaniel (assistant curator of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Art at the Art Gallery of NSW); Miriam Kelly (curator of Artbank); Talia Linz (curator of Artspace Sydney); Sian McIntyre (curator of Verge Gallery at The University of Sydney).

Refreshments and afternoon tea will be provided.
