Put it in your diary: Coming to Campbelltown on March 6, the premier, Mike Baird

It’s all happening in Campbelltown.

The Labor Party’s newly minted leader Luke Foley launched their election campaign at the Campbelltown Catholic Club on Sunday.

This Friday, just five days later, it will be the Premier, Mike Baird, who will be in Campbelltown to spruik the case for his government’s re-election on March 28.

And the venue this time will be Wests League at Leumeah.

But the premier won’t be here to launch his campaign – he will be here as guest of one of our business groups.

Hot on the heels of reeling in transport minister Gladys Berejiklian late last year, the Ingleburn chamber of commerce and industry has gone one better by landing the premier as its guest speaker, just three weeks out from the election.

“Premier Baird will be speaking on Rebuilding NSW, so this is an important function for the South West sub-region of Sydney, and particularly the Macarthur part of that sub-region,’’ the chamber’s Phil Occhiuto said.
